Sick Sick go away, don't come back some other day.

Sorry I've been out so long...again. Combo of school, being a senior, a feeling of the stomach flu and everything else. I just felt like I need to write something if I happen to die due to my sympathy symptoms for Varitek.

I LOVE this baseball team. Seriously. 3 out of the 4 games they've won this home stand have been come from behind with the league lead 9 come from behind wins. We're doing this with a hurt Beckett - Youk - Lowell - and Alex Cora. We have a very sick Varitek (who's been out since Sunday), a sick MDC and a newly sick Dice. Also right now, from the looks of it Jon Lester doesn't look like he's feeling very good either who's going on 3 days rest.
Like I said, I love this baseball team. This flu bug needs to go away and fast though because it's just sucking everyone out.
I need to go as I'm in redsoxchat right now. Speaking of which, I'll promote redsoxchat.com is one of the best places to chat. We're all a little family. We have pbp for people with no eyes. The mod was a runner for the RSN presidentation, too bad he lost to a dog =]. We have a lot of friends.

I got some bad news. It's gonna hurt.

From the looks of it, Mike Lowell is going on the DL with a thumb injury. Alex Cora felt a twinge in his elbow. The Sox are down to 3 regular infielders with Lugo, Pedrioa, and Youk. Our pitching sucks, we can hope Mike Timlin isn't the Mike Timlin of old and figures out how to pitch without GIVING up the runners on base. It's supposed to rain this weekend against the Yankees. Rain Out Saturday so I don't have to hear Buck and McCarver.

Okay and seriously, who gives two craps about the Bruins? They're not going to win this series because theyre more than likely going to choke against the Canadians. Then again I said that about that big "S" word for a football game and the results still sting. They're not THAT important to take over the Red Sox Pre-Game show. I can't wait until they lose and it's all about the Red Sox on NESN again because seriously? WHO CARES?! I guess, however, good luck to them because it's a Boston team...I guess. Now back to my topic before the Bruins decided to show up on a RED SOX show.

The good news? It's almost 99.9% confirmed that I'm going to Newbury College. The fact that it's four miles from Fenway plays ALMOST nothing into my decision. The Yankees can't beat the "easy" teams. Jeter and Posada are hurt. Gagne still can't pitch. Why do you ask this is good news? Because it wasn't just because he couldn't pitch for the Red Sox. I really wonder if it was because he can't use the steriods anymore? Sorry I couldn't resist. JD Drew can actually hit again. Oh and CN8 is going to a miracle worker tonight =]!

The best news? My cousin Sarah's now engaged to her boyfriend as of April 8th. Congrats to Sarah and Jamie!
Now the worst part I have a lot of homework to do and take a shower before game time. WHAT is that about. Damn teachers.

Opening Day Part 4

Well today is Opening Day. The day that needs to be a national holiday here in Boston. I'll be in class and not able to see the ring ceremony. I'm basically going to miss everything (expect the game.) It doesn't feel the same watching it taped

Julio Lugo of 2008 = Edgar Renteria of 2005. That is all I have to say about that!

Class is about to begin so all I have to say is...

GO SOX!

Short.

Well after a lose last night, the Red Sox come back and try and win today. I'm going to miss the big match-up tomorrow because I have to go to Newbury College tomorrow...GO FIGURE!

Can I just say that I ROCK when it comes to JD Drew and his homeruns. Game 6 ALCS. I told everyone before he hit his grand slam that it was just JD and he wouldn't do it. Seriously, he proved me wrong and I think my dog still thinks I'm crazy with the stuff I did after. I did it again last night and guess what? It worked. I think I'm on a mission to do that now.

My life has been really busy lately with college and stuff like that but it's still really exciting and stressful.

Before I leave, I just have to welcome a new little buddy in my life -- again. My baseball dad's wife had a baby boy named Samuel Henry on April 3rd =]!

Are you ready for some BASEBALL?!?!

I'm wide awake and so alive
Ringing like a bell
Tell me this is paradise
And not someplace I fell
'Cause I keep on fallin' down

The 2008 sesaon started in Japan with our boys spilting the series 1 - 1. The first game was a 6 -5 extra innings game (which if I was home and not at school, I would have def. suffered a stroke) while the second game was nothing much of boring 2 - 5 lose.

JD Drew is hurt...already. Good thing it's only a back spasm because I would spasm HIM out. Of course I'm only kidding.
Speaking of RF'ers. In somewhat of a shock, Trot Nixon was cut from AZ last night. They went with the younger player, which is cool I guess and I understand that. Why do I have the feeling, as good of a guy Trot really is, he went back to his hotel room or wherever the hell he is and took it out and everybody and everything that came walking by. Oh well, here's to hope that Trot finds a job and I can tell the beautiful baby on top about how to really play the game.

Anyways, Beckett is supposed to come back soon and the game is on TV tomorrow night. I have a surprise for everyone here tomorrow and oh yeah.

Oh yeah, before I leave - I have a picture of my princess Jasmeen. She's growing up way to fast for me. *tear*

Japan Boston Red Sox

I know the title is lame, but it's the only thing I could think of so yeah, like it or leave it.

Well, it’s been a while. A very busy while, but there is a ton of stuff to update about. Where to start?

Well the Sox are now in Japan. It almost didn’t happen because of the boycott the Red Sox almost did. The coaches and training staff were getting screwed over and it pissed off our hometown boys. Mr. Bud got caught again. Say, when is he ever going to retire? I have to say, I’m very proud of them, standing up for what they believe in. If this was about them not getting paid enough, we would have looked really stupid. But it wasn’t and that makes me proud. Now after an 18 hour flight and I’m sure some very tired Red Sox, they are now in Japan.

The Sox are doing so much stuff in Japan; I don’t even know where to start. I don’t think I have the time as I’m in school right now. Speaking of school, it’s going very well. I just signed up to take a college credit course through my Criminal Justice course, sounds like it’s going to be a new class. I should be doing my French homework right now. I thought that this was going to be longer than it is, but I guess it’s not going to be.
