By all counts, last nights game was TERRIBLE! Pitching wasn’t there and neither was the offense/defense. Since tonight’s a new night, we can move on from last night and hope for a great night.
There were so many opportunities blown by this team yesterday it was sad and it wasn’t just Curt’s pitching. Oh yeah, did any of you know that “Curt’s” not in a Microsoft Word? Isn’t that crazy? Anyways, as he said he made mistakes and what I like is that he’s not afraid to admit it.
Just reading that Giambi might be getting suspended for what he said. Gotta love Johnny Damon at a time like this because he always comes through in the clutch.
"I'm still trying to figure out what he's in trouble for — freedom of speech?" outfielder Johnny Damon said. "You can always go back and get someone in trouble for what they did in the past, whether it's stealing a pack of gum or whatever."
No dippy, he’s probably going to get suspended for doing steroids WHEN it wasn’t legal. Funny to point out, wouldn’t this suspension not matter as he’s on the DL and probably won’t be coming back anyways. If Giambi got suspended for using steroids, said this, and was going to get suspended again, I would question it too, but come on Johnny. If you did steroids and told the reporters that you did it THIS YEAR or any year the penalty was enforced and didn’t think baseball would look into it and possibly get suspended for it, you weird mon! He’s probably going to get suspended for at least 10 to 20 days anyways so I think he should grow up and start thinking about himself. Oh yeah, that’s right, he does.
Whoever invented the iPod is going to get the Nobel Peace Prize from me. It’s keep me from wanting to hurt a few people and is going to get used to the limit on Saturday.
