A lot of things were ugly in the game last night. the way Wakefield pitched was absolutly ugly. Something tells me that he shouldnt pitch against the Yankees anytime soon because he just seems to not be able to pitch again them. What was ugly however was the Youkilis incident in the 9th inning.
Proctor said he didnt mean to almost hit him in the head, but I really beg to differ. A lot of people were hit in the game, including Lowell who had to leave the game because of it. When you want retalation, don't you NOT hit him in the head? I really think not, I think you go to hit them below the waist because that's what I've been told that you do. Hitting someone in the head could always seem that it's on purpose. I like how Posada walked with Youk to first base, I wouldn't buy it though, it's the Yankees, they tend to these things for some reason.
I also love how Torre doesn't like what Arod did with the "MINE" call. I have to say that I agree, but Boston fans just make it big because that's how we roll.
"It's probably something he shouldn't have done. But it's over with. What the hell else are you going to do? I don't sense he's going to do it again. I think just the reaction probably told him that. He may have been excited about the fact that we were leading the ballgame, going around toward third base. It was probably inappropriate to do it at the time he did it, but you can't change it, unfortunately."
So for all the people that say that he's right for doing it, HA!! When the manager is telling you shouldnt have done it, then you shouldn't have done it. But whatever, it's done, so moving on.
Now it's time to make fun of Johnny Damon. The old Jesus, now yeah, here are some things that he said about the fans.
"What's amazing is the fans thought about what they were going to do all day instead of enjoying the nice weather. They worried about that all day . . . but hey, if that floats their boat, then that's fine."
Now Sir Damon, here's an idea you should take on. SHUT UP!! You make NO sense. You talked to fans who said they were worried about this? I think not. I wouldn't mind if you never played for the Sox, but you did and you know how we are. If he never went to the Yankees, we wouldn't know what to do.
Today I have to go to a graduation party, I don't really want to go, but I'm lazy and I much rather watch the game today because it's going to be intense and on Fox, so I'm out.
