I'm almost convince that my school is starting to run on baseball when it comes to rain. I swear we only cancel school when it rains out. It was also foggy but for real. When it snows, we have school, let's get that.
Just an lol because it's so true on so many levels. He talked today, let's here what he had to say
Gagne declined to meet with Mitchell before the release of the report and refused to address it with the media until Monday.
"Since 2004, Major League Baseball has done everything in their power to clean up the game and I think they've done a great job," Gagne said before his first workout with the Brewers. "Right now I just want to go forward. I think Major League Baseball is ready to go forward and, hopefully, all the fans are ready to do that."
That remains to be seen a week after Congress spent four hours questioning Roger Clemens, one of the prominent stars listed along with Gagne in Mitchell's Dec. 13 report to baseball on steroid use.
After a poor second half with the Boston Red Sox last season, Gagne signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Brewers three days after the Mitchell report was released.
"I'm here to let you know I feel bad for my family, what they had to go through, and all my friends, especially my teammates here with Milwaukee," Gagne said a statement. "That's a distraction that shouldn't be taking place. I'm just here to help the Milwaukee Brewers get to the World Series and playoffs, and that's all I really care about."
Two quick notes. The first is a little longer than quick
1. I feel so bad for Andy Pettitte.
He has an idiot for a best friend and Andy's a decent guy.
Should he have done the steriods? No.
You know, he was honest about what he did. Too bad his best friend sucks at life and threw him under the bus.
2. Trot Nixon "auditioned" to play on the D-Backs along with Toronto, Seattle, and LA Dodgers. I hope he goes to an AL team, I want to see him.

I think I might be one of the only people who actually held no ill feelings for Gagne. I felt bad for him. He wanted to pitch well for Boston but some places just don't agree with a player. He was not meant to pitch in Boston. Considering the talent he does have, I really hope he continues to be unable to pitch in Boston any time we have to face him.
I heard that Trot also talked aith Tampa. As much as I dislike Tampa, I would *love* to see him man right field when I go see the Sox play the Rays.
I recall the deal & almost lost my lunch over that, especially when the Sox lost twice in Baltimore after "The Amazing Adventures of Eric Gagne's Missing in Action Fastball".
I was also suspicious of possible Steroid Allegations before the season was over.
