Hank the Dank

Okay, I made up the word Dank but it's all in truth. Hank Steinbrenner is talking .... again. Let's read what he had to say.

The latest, no doubt, will send Boston Red Sox fans into a frenzy.

Steinbrenner, apparently trying to emphasize that he has no fear of the Yankees' American League competition, has amped up the rivalry between the two teams, intentionally or not.

"Red Sox Nation?" What a bunch of [expletive] that is," he said in an interview with The New York Times' Play magazine. "That was a creation of the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans.

EXCUSE ME?!?! What a bunch of shit that is? HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT US?! We will prevail. Oh right...we did. There's more. Tell me you're not surprised?

"Go anywhere in America and you won't see Red Sox hats and jackets, you'll see Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We're going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order."

And theres a reason why the Red Sox have the highest away attendence?

This is going to be a fun season.

Oh and 5 minutes, the Red Sox game starts. On NESN.

See ya on the flip side.

Good times...Another generation of Steinbrenner at whom I can cast copious amounts of loathing.

Hank's jealous. I have a newsflash for him: I spend a ridiculous amount of time at Disney World. I used to see more EE shirts & hats, etc. Then it evened up. Now there are more Sox hats & shirts, etc. If there are more Sox than EE fans, then the EE fans must be ashamed to show it in public. =P That's what happens when so many of your fans are of the badnwagon variety.
